People said that the color was pretty light but it really is not that bad. I am blonde and like a natural look but I can even pull this color off when I go with a smokey eye with black eyeshadow. It is not really plumping but with multiple layers will give you a thicker look without being clumpy. They key word here is layers if you want a dramatic lash. If you like mascara that does not clump this is the one. Also this was listed as the least toxic mascara on one of those websites that tests for toxicity and cancer causing agents. That is what sold me.

Finally a mascara I can wear. Goodbye black cakey flakes under the eyes. Hello thick naturally looking eyelashes. I thought it was just me.

This mascara is that perfect shade of brown, not too dark and not so light that it can barely be seen. A great alternative to the usual black, this product doesn't smear or streak and stays put for up to six hours after application.
This made my lashes look longer but not thick (like the Minnie Mouse effect). This is why it looks good for daywear - not too overdone. The comb does not clump up (I have had this product for 4 months now) after a while.

Great product! No clumps and no bad stuff to hurt your eyes. It's one of the safest mascaras on the market. Priced right too.

Long wearing, great coverage, and no flakiness. I wear contacts and this didn't bother my eyes at all. I purchased the mascara in black, not sure why Amazon doesn't carry black. This is the only brand I will purchase from now on. I love that Ecco Bella has more natural ingredients than your standard makeup line. Highly, highly recommended.
