Taste just like key lime pie.Nov 16, 2008
It's a little thick and is an acquired taste but after a while it will taste just fine if you like key lime pie

I have been looking for a good protein shake that does not contain sugar substitutes and has a fruit smoothie like taste and this is the ONE! The taste is great, it is easy to drink, just the right size, and I feel GREAT when I drink one of these after a hard cardio workout, before I lift weights or even after lifting weights. I do not get that post workout drain any longer, seriously! I play ice hockey, sometimes having multiple games in 1 day, and these drinks are great for right when I get off the ice to replenish my body. The makers of this drink really got this right!!!!
Helpful for Crohn's & IBSJun 26, 2008
Mix1 is a wonderful thing for people with Crohn's disease or IBS. I have been drinking it for a few months now instead of other liquid food drinks that are typically filled with chemicals. I have found this product to be soothing when other foods cause pain.
Mix1 tastes like a fruit flavored yogurt smoothie and is nutritionally well balanced. It is a natural product and has 15grams of protein, giving me enough energy to have a good workout and maintain a healthy weight.
To prevent flare ups, I typically drink at least 3 of these (all flavors) daily and eat a mild diet, following my doctor's instructions. Mix1 has been very helpful and I am not starving anymore.
As an added bonus, Mix1 is convenient and portable. I always keep at least one in my car and in also my gym bag. My only issue is keeping enough in my fridge, my entire family and office staff loves it!
This is a great product, try it blended with ice, it is refreshing!

I've tried all the Mix 1 flavors, and while I was initially skeptical about a lime flavored drink, I have to admit that after trying it, this is now clearly my favorite. It tastes like key lime pie in a bottle! I've found this stuff is great as a snack at my desk, as lunch on the go, and works well as a pre-workout energy boost. Not to mention that its nutritional and tastes great - I highly recommend it!

Skip this flavor, but definitely try out the Berry, Mango, and Blueberry-Vanilla (I haven't tried the Tangerine flavor yet). This one has a strange aftertaste that I can't entirely describe.
